Jenn K. Allen was a Case Manager specializing in long-term pediatric care, working closely with families of children who were mentally aware but faced early end-of-life. Divorce rates for these families can reach 70%, often leaving one person as the central caregiver. Jenn observed that when this key person was supported, the entire system could function.

As a former schoolteacher and TESOL instructor, Jenn wrote Awesome Attitudes and led leadership workshops for six years, helping children develop self-leadership and teamwork skills.

For over a decade, she has owned and operated social service companies. She owned a rehabilitation center, leading teams of Behavioral Health Technicians and working with high-risk clients facing schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and severe behavioral challenges. She learned from the strongest mentors in Arizona and from highly educated Behavioral Health staff. 

 

A functioning team developed critical skills such as preventing staff splitting, recognizing enabling behaviors, and reinforcing accountability.

Jenn advocates for a skill-based approach to mental health—combining medication, counseling, and structured personal development. She believes in enforcing a few high-impact rules while respecting individuals through high standards and meaningful direction.
